Hero Rescue Fund

After all the 4th of July Celebrations, celebrating our Independence Day, let us remember all those who have fought so hard for our freedom. Thanks to our brave men and women in the armed services for risking their lives to protect our nation. We live in one of the greatest nations in the world! Let us “Help Those Who Help Others!”

The Hero Rescue Fund wants to give a shout out to our heroic firefighters across the nation during this firefighting season and show our appreciation for the hard work they do to save lives, homes and the environment. Always being the first responders, they rescue people and animals from dangerous accidents and situations. The Hero Rescue Fund recently met with the LA Fire Department Foundation. We are excited to partner with them on strengthening the preparedness and responsiveness of their rescue teams, focusing on safety.

We pause to celebrate and honor those who have and are currently serving. Memorial Day is the special day to honor our troops and veterans for their service and sacrifice.
Let us also honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice – their own life and death – to preserve our freedoms, in the service of God, family, and country.
Let us receive this gift – our freedoms – with most grateful hearts, and return our deepest thanks, by taking time to make a Memorial Day observance.
These men and women make us all proud.

There are so many ways to contribute to Earth Month!! Joining in the spirit of Earth Day Celebrations, the Hero Rescue Fund is busy planning the first of many agricultural gardens … The service of our veterans have increased our quality of life, and given us the freedom and protection to enjoy our nation. The Heroes Rescue Fund strives to provide our injured Heroes with therapeutic rejuvenation while learning to grow healthy, organic vegetables and fruit, as they transition back to civilian lives. Help Our Heroes! TOGETHER, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!

The Hero Rescue Fund is working on a new agricultural project, putting veterans back to work growing healthy, organic food while helping with global warming and cleaning the environment. Look for our PSA Campaign coming soon on National Geographic and CBS stations. Together we can make a difference!!

The 1st Marine Division of Camp Pendleton is celebrating their 73rd Anniversary this year. The Hero Rescue Fund was invited to join the tour to see the display of some their artillery and equipment, technology at its finest, owned by the USA, that was used in current active duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. On hand were some state of the art humvees, complete with artillery and weapons. There were the eyes in the sky, unmanned flying objects, also known as drones on display. Congratulations to the 1st Marine Division and thank you for your service and keeping our country and its citizens safe! Ooorah!

Members of the Hero Rescue Fund, Larry Hatcher, Joyce Underwood, and Walt Tabayoyong attended and participated in the Toys For Kids Drive at Cashmere in Hollywood sponsored by Red Grant, Comedian, who was able to pass out the toys to over 300 kids the following day.

Larry Hatcher, Joyce Underwood, Lisa VanSlyke, Allen Reynolds, the ‘Gator Cowboy’, and Walter Tabayoyong of the Hero Rescue Fund volunteered to help feed the homeless in Downtown las Vegas. On hand was the ‘Chuckwagon’ with their delicious chili and many other catering trucks feeding the homeless. A special shoutout to Monster Energy who provided the homeless with bags for their belongings.

The Hero Rescue Fund was in Las Vegas attending the First Friday and First Saturday Events in Downtown Las Vegas with the ‘Gator Cowboy’ who is one of the Official Ambassadors of the Hero Rescue Fund. We would like to thank Zappos and Downtown Las Vegas for inviting us and a special thanks to the wonderful people of the ‘Chuckwagon’ family for their great food and warm hospitality!

The Hero Rescue Fund was invited to the Purple Heart Luncheon in November. The luncheon was given by the 1st Marine Division Association and was held at the Marine Corps Air Combat Center in 29 Palms. This was to thank the Marines and Sailors for their service and sacrifice.
